Evara Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Evara is an early-stage product currently in development. We're focused on Australia and the US right now. If you're joining from elsewhere, including the UK, we don't yet have region-specific coverage — you're welcome to join, but we'd recommend waiting until we do. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- If you join our waitlist or complete our quiz, we collect your email address (optional) and your quiz responses, including any free-text answers you choose to share.
- We do not collect financial account information, bank connections, or payment details at this stage.
Why we collect it
- To understand the real experiences, needs, and challenges of the women we're building Evara for.
- To follow up with founding community members who choose to share their email.
- To shape Evara's features and direction based on genuine feedback.
Analytics
- We use PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site — for example, which pages are viewed and where people may drop off during the quiz.
- This may include your IP address, browser and device information, and the pages you visit. We use this only to improve Evara's experience, never for advertising.
How we store and protect it
- Your data is stored securely with Supabase, our backend data provider, hosted in Sydney, Australia. If you're joining us from outside Australia, this means your information is transferred to and stored in Australia.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.
- Your quiz responses are processed by our AI provider (via Lovable's AI Gateway) to generate a personalised written reflection for you. Beyond that, only the Evara founding team has access to your responses.
- PostHog, our analytics provider, also receives the visitor data described in the Analytics section above — never your quiz answers or email.
Your rights
Wherever you're joining us from, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by contacting us at joinevara@gmail.com.
For Australian visitors: this policy is intended to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
For US visitors: depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we hold, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you can still make any of these requests at joinevara@gmail.com at any time.
Your choices
- Providing your email is optional.
- You can skip any quiz question.
As Evara grows
If Evara's product evolves to include financial account connections, AI-driven recommendations, or additional data collection, this policy will be updated, and we'll notify anyone with an existing account before changes take effect.
